Details: Franz Schubert was the theme for the 2023 Orford Music Festival, which featured a number of musicians interpreting famous pieces by the renowned composer. Fitting somewhere between the Classical and Romantic periods, Schubert was fascinating for his prolificacy and emotional melodies. Orford Music hired me to conduct research and pitch article topics that would help the general public deep dive into the world of Schubert in a fun and engaging way. Thus every piece listed in the article is linked to a “weekend activity” you can do while enjoying Schubert’s music.
